Joseph "Bill" Parent of Ormond Beach, Florida went home to the Lord Friday, February 28, 2025 at the age of 88. He went peacefully surrounded by his loving wife, daughters and granddaughter.

Bill was born in New Bedford, Mass. May 13, 1936 to Joseph and Mina Parent. He held great pride in serving in the United States Marines Corps. He was a long haul truck driver and avid Harley enthusiast. He loved his family, riding his motorcycle and making all around him smile by telling them of his life's adventures. Bill was known by all for his love of dancing and his deep loyalty to his family.

Bill was predeceased by his brother Leo Parent, his mother Mina C. Parent, his father Joseph W. Parent Sr, and brother Robert Parent.

Bill is survived by his wife Darlene Parent, his brother Gerald "Jerry" Parent, daughters Annette Romano and Dawn Cropp, his son Joseph Parent III. Bill held great love and pride for his grandchildren Amanda Castelejo, Ashley Romano, Andrew Romano, Christpher Parent and his great grandchildren Kenzie "Kai", Keagan, Keira Castelejo and Mina Romano.

Services for Bill are currently private and at the discretion of his family.
