Joseph was born in TB, Maryland. He owned and operated Clyde Richards Excavating. He was a world champion Barrel Racer and a member of the National Barrel orse Association. He enjoyed renovating antique cars and trucks and was Santa Clause each year for Aquasco (Maryland) community. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Joy, children Joseph Anthony (Anita) Richards, Michelle Renee' (James) Jordan, Matthew Clinton (Angel) Richards, brothers Robert E Richards, Jerry W Richards, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Maryland.
