RUBINO

Joseph H., age 85, of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna Beach.  Mr Rubino was born in 1932 the son of Joseph and Florence in Philadelphia, PA.

On December 1, 1979 he married Shirley J. Miller.  Mr Rubino was a mechanical engineer working in the Philadelphia, PA area and various job sites throughout the United States.

Joseph was a US Navy veteran serving on board the USS Wisconsin during the Korean War.  His love of the sea and boating continued as he sailed the Chesapeake Bay, the ICW and the Bahamas with his wife.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Shirley; his step-daughter, Samantha (Jonathan) Sheridan and their 2 children, Erin and Connor.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Heritage Chapel of Baldwin Brothers Memorial Services, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.  Later, Joseph will be laid to rest at 2 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL with Navy honors.
