Joseph Trmal, 90, Passed away suddenly on Monday, October 30, 2017.  Born in Prague, Czech Republic on March 29, 1927.  In 1948 he escaped from the communist regime in the Czech Republic into Germany.  From here he immigrated to the United States in 1956 and received his citizenship in 1961 along with his Engineering degree from Newark College of Engineering.  He worked as a project Engineer until his retirement.  He met Thelma (Bell) Trmal in 1961 and they were married in 1962.  They spent 55 years together and loved each other deeply.  They moved to The Villages in 1933 and have been very happy here.  He is survived by his wife Thelma and four brothers and sisters in the Czech Republic.  A memorial service will be held on November 8, 2017 at 12 PM at Lady Lake United Methodist Church, 109 W McClendon St, Lady Lake, FL 32159.  Online Condolences may be sent to www.baldwincremation.com.
