Joy Chime Eddy Eubank, 89, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt & friend to all passed away on June 25, 2025 at her home in Port Charlotte, FL surrounded by the love of her family.

Joy was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 24, 1935 to Emma & Theodore Chime Eddy. She was a long awaited only child who brought joy to their lives, so they named her Joy.  She was the most wonderful, happy and sweet soul who brought warmth, laughter, and love to everyone blessed to be a part of her life.

Joy spent her life grateful, loving and caring for everyone.  She totally and completely personified her name and added kindness as a bonus. She woke everyday with an optimistic and joyful heart. She always wanted to help others.  One of her greatest joys was volunteering at her home church, Sonshine Baptist and at the Millennium Physician Group.

Joy was preceded in death in 2024 by her husband, Richard, of 67 years, in 2003 by her daughter Amy Chime Reeder, in 2024 by her son-in-law David Reeder and two cherished nieces.

Joy is survived by her children, Betsy Eubank, Wayne Eubank and Kris Dombrowski (Wally); her granddaughters, Emily Wolcott (Dale) and Andrea Walker (Kyle); her grandsons, Adam Chime Dombrowski and Austin Eubank; her great grandsons, Owen and Maxwell Wolcott; brother-in-law, Don Eubank and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 2PM with a service to follow at 3PM at New Joy Lutheran Church located at 316 W 156th Street in Westfield, IN 46074 with Pastor Chris Duckworth officiating. All are welcome to attend.
