Joyce M. Schaefer, 90, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Marysville, MI, died on Monday, October 11, 2021.  She was born in Port Huron, MI to the late Lowell and Irene Downing.  Joyce married Harry J. Schaefer March 2, 1948 in Cumberland, MD, and was married 41 years before his passing on June 28, 1989.  She is survived by 2 daughters; Linda (Jerry) Johnston and Peggy (Paul) Gooch, 3 grandchildren; Greg (Casey) Thorner, Cheryl (Al) Walker, and Laurie (Jeff) Lindsay, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jill Lynn Johnston in 1981.  After cremation has taken place, she will be buried in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville, MI.
