Juanita D. Moore, 89 of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away December 27, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.

Nita was born in Morgantown, WV the second daughter of the late Rex and Beatrice Davis.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter Cathie Bragg, son Michael, sister, Barbara Bonfili and brother David.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Meredith of Vienna, WV, grandson Rob Bragg of Kinson, NC, granddaughter Carole Meredith of Morgantown, WV, great-grandson, Evan McConnell, of Morgantown, WV, great grand-daughters, Ava, Kate, Rose and Ruby Bragg of Kinson, NC and son-in-law Dale Bragg of Pt. Pleasant, WV.

While in Morgantown, Nita was involved in Girl Scouts and worked at Dodges and Yeagle's Jewelry stores.

Nita and Bob moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL in 1990 where they became members of Coronado United Methodist Church. She was active in Priscilla Circle, missions, and was president of the United Methodist Women.  She was also active in the Pine Island Ladies group and volunteered at Canaveral National Seashore Park educating local schools on the sea turtles.

There will be no viewing, however a memorial service will be planned at a later date at the convenience of the family.
