Obituary

It is with profound sadness and endless love that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Festa, A beloved wife and mother who left this world on July 4, 2026 at the age of 87.

Judith was born on May 26, 1939 in Buffalo NY to Joseph and Sofia Mascia.

Judith was the cornerstone of our family and a loving wife to Carmen Festa for over 65 years. As a mother, she was our greatest cheerleader, our wisest counselor and our safest harbor. She dedicated her life to her children, Alison & Lisa. Her love was unconditional and her home was always a sanctuary filled with laughter, delicious home cooked meals and most of all, love.

Judith was the eldest of four girls. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanie Hurst and Phyllis Trembley. She is survived by her sister Joanne Duke.

Judith also has 5 beautiful grandchildren: Donald Jr (Tisha) DiChristopher Anthony DiChristopher, Alyssa DiChristopher, David DiChristopher & Ryan (Samantha) DiChristopher. She was also a great grandmother to Mia and Bryson DiChristopher.

Judith was a beacon of light, grace and energy to everyone who had the honor and privilege of knowing her. She was one of the few to win the Jesse Ketchum award from the Buffalo NY school system. This award was given for academic excellence throughout her school years.

Judith and Carmen moved to the Villages in 2016. Judith took advantage of all that the Villages had to offer. She would play golf with her husband, she took line dancing and Tap dancing classes and participated in many shows the dance classes performed. Judith also volunteered for the “Friends of the Library” Judith stayed so busy and made so many friends her children often joked that they would have to call her on her cell phone as opposed to her home phone because she was hardly ever home.

We will celebrate her remarkable life on: September 19 at 11:00am at: St Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Wildwood FL. Family, friends and all whose lives were touched by her are invited to come share stories and celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Mom, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
