A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, on October 11, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Born on November 4, 1946, in New Haven Ct., Judith lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and community.
Judith was the beloved wife of Michael Howard Gay, with whom she shared twenty nine beautiful years of marriage. Together, they continued a family that became the center of Judith's world. She was the devoted mother of four children: Lisa Hughes (Charles) of Milford, NY; Lori Krause (Thomas) of Port Charlotte, FL; Scott Eastwood of North Port, FL; and Tina Eastwood of Bristol, CT. Her children were her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting them in every possible way.
Judith was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Paul Robert Eastwood, Justin Scott Eastwood, Francis Elwood Krause, Michael Alan Fraiser, Tobias Fraiser, and Madalynn Rose Krause. She cherished every moment spent with them, offering guidance, love, and creating memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Judith is survived by a brother, Peter Lane of Milford, New York.
Judith was a dedicated Nurse before her retirement. Her career was marked by her compassionate care and commitment to her patients, who benefited from her gentle touch and kind heart. Her colleagues and patients admired her for her professionalism and empathy.
In addition to her family and career, Judith was actively involved in her faith community. She was a member of the Lady Lake Assembly of God in Florida, where her belief and spirituality were a source of strength and comfort.
Judith's life was a testament to love, care, and compassion. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy and kindness she brought into the world.
