Judith Gyarmati (87) of Summerfield Florida, past peacefully on September 7, 2026 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family.

Judy was born in Detroit and grew up in Lincoln Park, Michigan, where she attended Lincoln Park High School. She graduated in the June class of 1957. High school was where she met the love of her life Gilbert Gyarmati. They spent 68 wonderful years together.

Judy was a registered nurse and spent 25 years working in the Intermediate Cardiac Care Unit . After retirement. Judy and Gil moved to Coldwater, Michigan where they spent 17 years before relocating to Florida.

Judy is proceeded in death by her husband, Gilbert Gyarmati.

She is survived by: Daughter - Lynette Opra, son, Michael (Diane) Gyarmati, grandchildren, Matthew (Nicole) Gyarmati, Lisa (Ben) Barrett,  two great grandchildren, Tanner and Josiah, and sister, Sally Meadows

She is also proceeded in death by her parents - Oscar and Evelyn Jordan.

It was Judy’s wish to be cremated without a public service. The family request memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in her name.
