The family of Judith Ann Horber is saddened to announce her death on July 19, 2023 at the age of 80 in Ormond Beach, Florida. Judith leaves behind her husband of 40 years Michael, three children Susan (Mark) Hamm, Christopher (Cindy) Quick, James (Angela) Quick; six grandchildren Kathleen (Brent) Smith, Connor Hamm, Kelli Quick, Justin Quick, Lucas Quick, Julian Quick and one great grandson Brixton Smith. Judith is also survived by her beloved dog Sidney. She leaves behind a sister, Dianna (Thomas) Fritts. She was preceded in death by her parents Edis and Alice Koch.

Judith was born on September 18, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio. After her family moved to Michigan, she graduated from Shrine High School in Royal Oak and went on to earn her teaching degree from Wayne State University while raising a family. Judith taught secondary education in Michigan and Kentucky before retiring to Florida with her husband.

Judith lived all over Florida and enjoyed renovating their homes with her husband. She loved walking the beach, swimming laps in her pool, playing a few rounds of golf, and watching her political shows. She picked up painting later in life and was quite a good artist and shared her works with family.

She was an avid reader, loved working on puzzles, playing games of all types, and always had a crossword puzzle going. She enjoyed watching movies of all genres at home or in the theatre and loved when she could see the next rocket launch from her condo on the beach. Judith loved her animals over the years and her latest dog Sidney was certainly spoiled.

In lieu of customary tributes the family asks that you consider adopting a dog or making a donation to a local dog shelter.
