Judith Marie Littorin

1943 – 2022

J udith Marie Littorin, 78, of Port Orange, FL, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange Care Center following a long battle with cancer.  Judy was born in Brunswick, ME to Nylla and Robert Willard and is survived by her husband Roy Littorin, Children Lance Piscitelli (Kathy), Cheryl Izzo (James), Joe Piscitelli (Mary Ann), Gary Piscitelli (Donna), Stepdaughters Denise (Thomas), Donna, Brother Jack Willard, Sisters Robin Miyashiro (Dayton), Lois Keith, Michelle Stratton (Jerry), Grandchildren Carla, Gina, Joseph, Michael, Vincent, Great-Grandchildren and Extended Family.

As a child and young woman, Judy liked to ice skate in the winters and roller skate in warmer weather with both friends and family.  Growing up during the golden age of rock & roll, Judy's musical interests were in songs by Elvis, Bobby Daren, The Platters and other Doo Wop groups.  She was a very gregarious person with a quick wit and a generous sense of humor that was always followed with an infectious belly laugh.  Green was Judy's favorite color and Lilac her favorite flower.  She liked cats and enjoyed rating the food and service of local restaurants.

Always an active individual, at age 9, Judy began working for a truck farm in South Portland, Maine picking yellow wax beans at two cents a pound.  In later years, Judy had positions at Buxton's in Agawam, MA, Diamond Match in Springfield, MA and various other local companies.  For several years after moving to Florida, Judy and Roy together owned Schooners Pub in Daytona Beach, FL where the high point of their year was Daytona's famous "Bike Week".  Judy finally retired after several years working as an Administrative Assistant for the Nursing division at Daytona Beach Community College.

Judy raised her family in Springfield, MA and spent most of her early years in the Western Mass part of New England.   Judy and her husband Roy, moved to Port Orange, Florida where they spent many evenings at the beach enjoying Daytona's famous sunsets.  They also enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking road trips to the New York area and many other New England towns.  Together they spent many a day cruising local hamburger joints for Hot Rod and Street Car Shows.

You will always be loved.  You will be missed.  From our lips, your name will often come as memories that linger sweetly.  If we were able to see her today at the Heaven's Gate Tavern, we just might see her with a big smile on her face with a martini glass in her hand raised high in the sky.  Goodbye for now and sleep tight until we see you again…

Judy will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, FL, 32754.  In Lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorials be made to Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange Care Center, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.  Donations can also be made online at www.Halifaxhealth.org/giving .
