Judith "Judy" Marien, aged 81, passed away on January 16, 2024, in The Villages, Florida, after a life marked by devotion to her faith and family that guided her every action. Judy was born in Flint, Michigan on January 1, 1943, the daughter of the late Carmen and Evelyn (Tewkesbury) Campbell, and resided in Davison, MI., Torch Lake, MI., and most recently The Villages, FL. She was joined in marriage to Louis Albert Marien Jr. in 1962 at Davison Methodist Church. A celebration of Judy's life will take place in The Villages, Florida in March 2024. A memorial will be held in Michigan during the summer of 2024 (date TBD) at which time her remains will be placed at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris, where other members of the Campbell family are laid to rest. Contributions in Judy's memory may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation benefiting U.S Veterans. https://www.garysinisefoundation.org/ Judy cherished every moment with her beloved family and friends. She embraced the beauty of God's creation through her love for gatherings, frequent camping trips, boating and swimming at lakes across Michigan, and extended family dinners typically followed by music, card games, and laughter, which brought joy to those around her. Judy graduated Davison High School class of 1961. Licensed in cosmetology, she worked most of her life as a hairstylist at her sister Carol's salons on Main St., Davison and in Burton, and Floy's salon at Torch Lake. Judy also worked at the Marien Bros. family hardware store on Main St., Davison. She was a devoted wife and mother, a member of Judson Baptist Church in Burton, a patriotic citizen, she enjoyed various clubs and leagues including bowling, euchre, cub scout den mother, garden club, and live music performances brought her special enjoyment. Judy embraced the sacredness of family bonds and time spent enjoying life's simple pleasures. She is survived by her son, Stephen Marien; her daughter, Shari Marien Beshers and son-in-law Ronnie; her brother, Bruce Campbell and sister-in-law Barbara; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Judy is preceded in death by her late husband, Louis Albert Marien, Jr.; her brother, Robert Campbell; and her sister, Carol (Campbell) Ross Todd.
