Judy Cox 1947-2023 Judy departed this world on Saturday June 3rd 2023. She was a loving, devoted wife to Lowell Cox. They were married for 45 years before he preceded her in death. Together they created a beautiful family that now consists of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy's favorite thing was to shop for those that she loved. She could spend hours going from place to place searching for just that perfect gift. She loved to travel, to go and visit with family and friends. She loved country music and attended fanfare in Nashville for many years. She loved to fill the yard with an array of beautiful, colorful flowers and plants. And of course for every holiday she would transform the front yard into an elaborate display of inflatables and lights, just to bring joy to the neighborhood. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she would decorate the most beautiful trees slightly different from the year before. She loved to fill each room with a different themed Christmas tree. The only thing she cherished as much as her grandchildren were her photos. She filled albums full of pictures of her family, friends and all of the country music singers that she had met throughout the years. She was a strong Christian mama. I would often hear her many nights praying out loud for her children and grandchildren. She loved unconditionally, if you were ever blessed to have met her you had a friend for life. She always told us, "a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet". Our lives will forever be changed because of the beautiful woman that raised us and taught us about Jesus. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Revo Church, 3140 SW 26th St, Ocala, FL 34474 on Saturday June 17th at 12:00pm.
