IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julia M.
Rodriguez
August 4, 1957 – September 8, 2024
Julia M. Rodriguez, (The Duchess) 67 of Ormond Beach, FL passed away and rose to Heaven by Angels on September 08, 2024.
Daughter of Jose Luis Rodriguez and Maria Mercedes Rodriguez, (last home in) Port Orange, FL. Julia was born in New London, CT, on August 4th, 1957. She lived most of her early life in New London, CT, and graduated from the Little Red School House on June 27th, 1978. She lived in New London until her father's retirement in 1997 moving to Port Orange Florida where Jose, Maria, and Julia resided. Julia moved to Ormond Beach, FL in May of 2010.
Memories invoke a special person who saw things differently, like as a child she was happier with the wrapping paper vs. the gifts, prefer seeing a friend or relative than getting another toy, and good fresh food was a teaching point of hers. Her big smile and even bigger brown eyes brought warmth and generous love to those who got to know her.
Julia's hobbies were knitting, books, and jewelry making. She loved everything and everyone with her sweet ways and soft-spoken voice could mesmerize anyone. She brought great joy and happiness to all who interacted with her. Her only complaint was her lack of power to make everyone around her content and happy; funny she had the power!
Julia was predeceased by her loving parents Jose and Maria Rodriguez, her sister Irma M. Saucier, and two of her brothers Charles Rodriguez (Columbia, SC) and Richard Rodriguez (Puerto Rico); she leaves her brother Joseph L. Rodriguez and spouse Theodore J. Stupack, brother David Rodriguez, his daughter Telisha Rodriguez and her family, and her beloved sister and best friend Gloria E. Imbimbo and her husband Michael Imbimbo and their two children Vi and Nicholas Imbimbo, and nephew Harold Saucier III, and his family. A quiet remembrance will be on Saturday, September 21, 2024, to cherish her memory.
