Julianne Etingher Chittum age 71 of Clermont, Florida Passed away peacefully at the Oviedo medical center in Oviedo, Florida on 1-6-2022 after a long battle, (since 2018) with Ovarian cancer.

Juli was born 07-09-1950 in Zeven, Germany to parents Vasile and Margareta Etingher. She grew up in Alexandria, Kentucky after immigrating over to America as a baby with her family from Germany. Juli told me she grew up riding horses and playing in the woods with her friends including her childhood friend Linda Bowers and her sister Stephanie. She always told me she was very feisty and smart alecky. Especially with her teachers. She used to make them mad all the time but always had "A" grades in school. Thats what really made the teachers mad, and she always laughed about that. She was always highly intelligent and Feisty. That's what I loved about her and one of the many reasons I married her. I also married her because she was very physically beautiful and always kept me on my toes. She wouldn't let me get away with anything. I will miss my precious and beautiful wife of 42 years.

When I met Juli in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1980 we were both vacationing. Me in the Navy and her from Cincinnati, working for WEBN radio in Cincinnati. After I left the Navy in 1982, she invited me to live with her in Price Hill, Cincinnati. In 1983 we were Married. After about 13 years as a media buyer and secretary to the owner of the station she was ready to move. We moved to Portsmouth, Virginia where she found a job as the executive director of Ports Events, in charge of putting on Concerts and Festivals for the city of Portsmouth Virginia and answering to the Board of directors. Then I got a transfer and we left for Sacramento, California for a year. Then we transferred to Lexington, Kentucky where she worked for a TV station for 2 years. Then we moved to Florida in 1996 for new beginnings. She loved Florida and really enjoyed Cape Canaveral beach. She Loved to cook and as Jon (a neighbor of mine) always said "she made the best Lasagna." Juli always made the best meals. She was always very generous and Helpful to anyone who needed it. Once again, she was always highly intelligent and always thought of solutions that nobody else could solve. Juli retired at 58 years old from TravelHost Magazine.

She used her retirement years enjoying her swim spa and taking luxury ship cruises. I loved my beautiful wife, and I will miss her dearly. She was a great wife and companion.

Juli is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Teresia Brockman and Stefania Smith. She is survived by her husband of 38.5 years, Victor Chittum and her six siblings: Constantine Etingher, Euginia Barber, Katharina Casper, Annemaria Bain, Elisabeth Rogers and John Etingher.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 28th at 10 am at the Clermont Baptist Church, 16115 Old Highway 50, Clermont, Florida 34711, Phone # 352-242-0919.
