Julio Rafael Olivares, 83, of St Petersburg, FL, passed away August 8, 2026. Julio will be dearly missed by his immediate family as well as his large extended family and close friends. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 5, 1943, and was a graduate of John Jay High School. He has held many different jobs over the years. Julio worked most recently as a bellman at Hilton Bayfront Hotel in Saint Petersburg and a messenger for Choice Couriers in NYC. Although Julio has ascended to join some of his already departed family in heaven, he will always be in our hearts and remembered fondly through all of our cherished memories that he filled with laughter, jokes, and pranks over the years, as well as all his deeds. Julio is survived by his loving wife since September 20, 1986, Margaret A. McCallum Olivares; his son, Paul Olivares; daughters, Leslie Olivares, Laura Olivares, Melinda Olivares, and Jennifer Luna; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Michael, and Gabriel Olivares.
