June Kirk
Feuerbacher

St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church
11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Eastern time)
June Kirk Feuerbacher passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the age of 89 at her home in Maitland, Florida surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 23, 1936 in Keene, New Hampshire, to Rawson Walter Kirk and Kathryn Ellen (David) Kirk.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Fred William Feuerbacher Jr., “Chet” to his closest friends. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Van Wormer, her 5 children; Julie Grabach (Brian), June Smith (late husband Richard), Gina Grasty (Jeffrey), Fritz Feuerbacher, and Jennifer Edwards (Daniel). Along with her 7 grandchildren; Kathryn (Peyton), Tucker (Regan), Harley June, Madison (Michael), Haley, William, and Sawyer, and 1 great granddaughter, Monroe.
After graduating from Winter Park High School in 1954, she worked at First National Bank of Winter Park on Park Avenue. She made lifelong friends at the bank before she and Fred married and started a family.
June loved her family more than anything and was always a constant source of love and support up until the very end. Her greatest joy in life was watching her children and grandchildren grow and build families of their own. She forged a tradition of spending summers in New Smyrna Beach with the entire family - grandchildren and all. This annual trip was a special time everyone looked forward to all year long, where she made sure to create the best memories with each of us separately and all together.
She was such a creative mind, and some of her most joyful times were spent attending weekend art shows with her best friend, Susan. She found so much happiness and fulfillment during those weekends spending time with friends, artists, and even sharing her own artwork. She was always so modest, but she was truly gifted.
June was also an avid tennis player on the W.A.I.T team, which they called “The Hot Flashes” at the Maitland Field Club. She enjoyed playing the sport up until her late 70’s. Her other interests included cooking, shopping at Dillard’s, Elvis, traveling, and spoiling her grandchildren any chance she could.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. The Celebration of Life will be held on June 24th at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
