June was a Legal Administrative Assistant for almost 40 years. After working for a local prominent attorney, she was employed by Dodge County Wisconsin in the Corporation Counsel's Office until her retirement in 1997. Not being one to sit still, June continued to work for Dodge County after retirement on a part-time basis for several years.

June loved everything about the Holidays. Thanksgiving was always an interesting adventure with June, Dick and a 32lb turkey in the 5 X 5 kitchen. Christmas was June's favorite. The gifting, the planning, the family get togethers. She beamed with excitement. June spent most of the year in search of the perfect present for everyone. She was truly the "Kitchen Gadget Queen". June loved cooking, pontooning and watching the sunsets with Dick and the family for almost 50 years on Lake Sinnissippi. June and Dick loved holding the yearly family reunion at the Lake. Wintering in Florida became a highlight for June in the recent years. June loved to sit in the warm sun and relax in the pool. One of her favorite things to do was to watch the Florida sky light up at sunset.

When you met June, you had a friend for life. Her love for her family was unending. She may be out of our sight but will forever be with us in our hearts.

The family would like to extend our love and thanks for the medical care extended to June during the last few years, Aurora Summit Oncology Department, Dr. Adam Siegel, Dr. James Meade and NP Jan Beyer, and the Meade Medical Clinic Staff. Love and special thanks to Anna Schmidt, Erin Keever, Mel Walters, Ashley Nold for their special love and care of June the past couple years. Prayers and thanks to the nurses at Tidewell Hospice for their care during June's final days. Thank you to Sally Priebe for being June's Florida Angel.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to two charities that were important to June. https://www.honorflight.org/ to honor our veterans or https://copsforkids.org/ to help the children of fallen law enforcement officers.

A Celebration of June's Life will be held at her favorite place to relax, The Golden Mast Restaurant, on Okauchee Lake, W349N5293 Lacy's Lane, Okauchee, Wisconsin. We will share the date and time when plans are finalized.
