Karen Ann Goodman 78 of Venice, Florida passed away on May 27, 2026, at home surrounded by love. She was born on November 24, 1948 in California. She grew up with her only sibling Jay, whom she had a close bond with. From a very young age, her life was filled with adventures, mainly on the water. Her love for sailing, started early in life, thanks to her mom.

Throughout her life, she has traveled all over the country, seeing places most of us only dream of. She met her husband in California; he was a charter boat captain. They were instantly drawn to each other as they had so much in common. They together created many memories on the water together going from destination to destination he unfortunately passed away in 2024. He was a remarkable man.

Karen will forever be remembered for her strong, independent, persistent personality. She was an unstoppable woman, not even MS or her wheelchair slowed her down. She lived life to the fullest. She had a huge giving heart and will forever be missed by all...
