Obituary

On the early evening of Tuesday May 7 th , 2019, Karen accepted Jesus' hand to begin her spiritual journey of eternal glory while in hospice care. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones up to the very end.

Karen was a loving and kind soul who loved her family and friends fiercely. She raised her two daughters instilling in them that they could achieve anything that they set their minds to. Her husband, Kirby and she were able to celebrate their 40 th wedding anniversary together this past April 14 th . Her smile and warm nature will be missed on this earth, but we know we have a wonderful guardian angel looking over us all from Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, mother, two sisters, sister-in-law, two brother-in-laws, two nieces, three nephews and two son-in-laws. She is proceeded by her father as well as great aunts and uncles and her two brother-in-laws.

The family has chosen to have a private service at her place of rest at the Cape Canaveral National Veterans Cemetery in Florida at an undisclosed day and time. The family also requests that in the place of flowers or sentiments, a donation be made in honor of her memory to either the American Cancer Society, Cornerstone Hospice Care or the Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation.

The family asks everyone to remember her as she was and to celebrate her life and memory!
