Karen Benn Lauria, age 86, passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 29, 2026.
Karen was born on March 19, 1940, in Little Falls, Minnesota. A long-time resident of Titusville, Florida, Karen loved playing bridge and spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered most for her beautiful smile, her genuine warmth, and sense of humor.
Karen is survived by her two sons, Brian Lauria and his wife, Caroline, and Mark Lauria and his wife, Michele; her longtime companion, Timothy Hubinger; four grandchildren, Ashlyn Sailsbury, Kristin Johns, and Courtney Lauria Johansen, along with their spouses, and Ashley Lauria; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Tillie Benn; her brothers, Richard Benn and Sonny Benn; and her sister, Sissy Benn.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later announced date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in honor of Karen to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
