On December 3, 2023, our family lost one of the most loving, supportive, and strongest people we will ever know when Karen Moran peacefully passed away.

She was fiercely loyal to and protective of the ones she loved. She loved her family and friends. and the beach. She will be greeted in heaven by her beloved son, "Little Rex" Moran Jr, her parents, Max and Mary McCafferty, Mother and Father-in-law Caleb "CJ" Moran, her sisters Patty, Georgia, Margaret (Peggy), Gerrie, Rita and Sheila.

She is survived by her husband and lifelong love of 45 years, "Big Rex" Moran Sr, her brothers George (Mike) and Ronnie Watson, and Brother-in-laws Bruce and John Pat Moran, as well as an extensive list of friends who became family. She will also be incredibly missed by her many adoring nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grand nephews.

Karen leaves a hole in our hearts and lives that will never be filled. We are eternally grateful to have had her influence on our lives and to have been a part of hers. There will be a Celebration of Life January 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM at her home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Help A Diabetic Child (HADC), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Epilepsy Foundation or consider planting a tree in her memory.
