Karin Elizabeth Deyber passed away peacefully at her home in Port Orange on Monday, September 17, 2012. Born to Rolf and Lilly Hakanson Iversen in Greenwich, CT, she was a 1960 graduate of Greenwich High School. She and John "Dick" Deyber were married July 1961. They moved several times for Dick's employment living in Saratoga, CA, Mission Viejo, CA, Downers Grove, IL, and Greenwich. CT, moving to Florida in 1998 upon Dick's retirement. Karin was active at Trinity Lutheran Church where she faithfully served in many capacities. She is leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Dick Deyber, daughters Kari Ann Deyber, New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Kristi Elizabeth Atkins (Douglas), Lafayette, IN. Additionally, brother John (Joan) Iversen, Cornelius, NC, sisters Jean Morano, Port Orange, FL, Christine (Michael) Arendt, Lake Mahopac, NY, and Kathi (Lars) Giers, Cape Coral, FL. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Rolf R. Iversen, Capt., USMC, Ret. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Smyrna Beach, FL Sunday, September 23 at 2:00 PM.
