Katherine Lucille Buss, 91, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. Katherine was born on September 26, 1932, in Erie, PA to parents Milton and Olive (Steinhoff) Hoyt. She was one of 7 children. She graduated from North East High School with a high school degree and worked for Welch Foods for 30 years.

Kay enjoyed hosting parties. It was her favorite thing to do. She loved her church, First Assembly of God, Ft Myers, FL that she attended for 35 years. Her friends and family were the most important things to her. She loved everyone.

She is survived by her loving Husband Richard Leon Buss of 62 Years; Children, Lisa Buss of Ft. Myers, FL; Patricia Hilton of Ft. Myers, FL; and Michael Cochrane of Westfield, NY as well as many other loving friends and family members.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at River Forest Country Club. There will be fellowship and dinner.
