Katherine Ann Piazzola-Noon, lovingly known as Kathy, will be remembered for her joyful spirit, kind heart, and the warmth she brought into every room. An optimistic and happy person, Kathy truly “carried a smile in her pocket,” always ready to share it with family, friends, and anyone lucky enough to cross her path.

Kathy dedicated 31 years of service as a committed employee of the Internal Revenue Service, where her strong work ethic and positive attitude left a lasting impression on colleagues. On August 21, 1996, she married Howard Peters, beginning a loving partnership filled with companionship and shared memories.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing cards, gardening, crocheting, painting, and spending time socializing with her dear friends. Kathy especially loved visiting Disney, where her playful and fun-loving nature truly shined.

Above all, Kathy was compassionate, caring, and devoted to her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Howard Peters of Summerfield, Florida; her son, Jason Noon of St. James, New York; and her cherished grandchildren, Brian and Eric Noon.

She is also survived by her stepson Ryan Peters and his spouse Corey of Babylon Village, New York, along with their children Kolton, Kennedy, and Kooper; and her stepson David Peters and his spouse Claire of Virginia, along with their children Kaela Brynne, Alex David, and Helen Claire.

Kathy is further survived by her sister, Betty MacDonald and her spouse Edward of Winter Garden, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Piazzola; her mother, Betty Piazzola; and her brother, Frank Piazzola Jr.

Kathy’s legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
