After a long three year battle with cancer , Kathleen L Nagelschmidt passed away on September 18, 2017 .

Born July 2, 1948, in Pittsfield , Massachusetts , to George and Lorraine (Glanfield) Slocum , she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1966 .

Kathy had numerous jobs over the years including telephone operator , waitress , bartender , secretary and printer . In 2011 she retired from Austen Riggs Center as a secretary .

An avid reader, Kathy's passion was cruising, especially in the Caribbean . If possible, she would have gladly spent her retirement at sea on a cruise ship.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 39 years George, her brother George (Helen) Slocum, her cousin Barbara Touhey , and her son from her first marriage Paul LeSage .

She is also survived by her grandchildren Amanda Marie Adornetto , Brodie LeSage, Kelby LeSage , Rylan LeSage and Logan LeSage .
