Kathleen "Kathy" "Nana" "Aunt Kathy" J. Overlock, age 74, of Hermon, ME and Ocala, FL went home to her Savior on July 3, 2023, after a long, hard fought battle with Cancer, with her Family by her side. Kathy was born on June 15, 1949, to Beverly and Marilyn (Lovell) Smith in Milo, ME. After having her daughter in 1972, she chose to stay home and watch children, but little did she know that would lead to a lifetime of many children calling her a "Second Mom". She was a member of Hermon Baptist Church and very much loved Her Savior. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring, loving, supportive, positive, beautiful woman. She was loved by anyone that she met. She very much loved her family and always put them before herself. She always made sure that her daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were taken care of.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Yoder of Ocala, FL; granddaughter Sarah (Dustin) Charrier of Ocala, FL; grandson Joshua Yoder of Hermon, ME; great grandchildren Anderson and Olivia Charrier of Ocala, FL; brothers, Larry (Donna) Smith of Milo, ME; David (Diana) Smith of Ocala, FL; Matt (Arline) Smith of Hermon, ME; niece, Angie (Tom) Barnett of Milford, ME and their sons, Thomas and Dylan; niece, Kara (David) Wittmer of Hermon, ME and their children, Colby and Torria; nephew, Jeryme (Joanna) Smith of Atkinson, ME and their son, Taylor; niece, Kelley (Greg) Dean of Levant, ME and their daughters, Aleah and Ava; niece, Laura (Walter) Gogan of Carmel, ME and their children, Wyatt and Hailey; nephew, Kevin (Ashlee) Smith of Sebec, ME and their daughter, Autumn; nephew, Scott (Heather) Smith of Ocala, FL and their children, Taylor, Austin, Alyssa and Tyeler; many cousins and friends; a special great niece Claira; and a special friend that was like a sister to her, Carolyn Smart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Charlie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, June 15, 2024, at Hermon Baptist Church, Hermon, ME. The family would like to thank the Medical Assistants, Doctors and Nurses at CCOM for their care and support, while in Maine. Also, Nurse Nancy, Social Worker Richard, Nurse Practitioner Denise and other nurses from Hospice of Marion County for their care and support in the last few months, while in Florida.
