A Life Celebration for Kathleen Mary Smith, 65, New Smyrna Beach, FL who passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, May 2, at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.  Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Alice (O'Hara) Solusky.

Kathy was born in Peckville, PA on January 2, 1951 and was raised in Bridgeport, CT.  She moved to Greenwich, CT and married the love of her life, Chuck, in 1969.  She was an administrative assistant and office manager for the law firm Hegney, Lennon & Slane, LLP for 19 years prior to moving to Florida.  She moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1995 and was an office assistant at Professional Physical Therapy in Edgewater for the past fifteen years.

Kathy loved the outdoors and taking long walks on the beach.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Kathy is survived by her adoring husband of 46 years, Chuck, and her sons, Michael (Lisa) Smith, Daniel (Michelle Applegate) Smith, four grandchildren, Max, Hayley, Jakob and Lukas, her loving sisters, Paula Kopisz, Amy McNeill, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She will be missed by her extended family, devoted friends and her ever-present four-pawed love, Spencer.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, incredible kindness and courageous spirit.
