Beloved Wife, Mother, Friend

January 22, 1927  –  December 25, 2021

Kathleen Jameson Sovereign (born Jan 22, 1927 in Stratford, On, Can) was called into the presence of Almighty God in heaven on Christmas morning, at the age of 94.  She was ready and eager to see her Lord and be reunited with her husband, Gerald W. Sovereign, to whom she was married for 60 years, before his death in 2007.

She is survived by her five children: Warren (and wife, Loreen) Sovereign, Barbara Duffield, Patricia McHenry, Bruce (and wife, Janel) Sovereign, and Esther Krolak, thirteen grandchildren (with nine spouses) and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

She was known and loved for her enduring and steadfast faith. She had a heart for missions, and prayed daily for each member of her family.  Her greatest wish was that every member of her family would come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

She enjoyed preparing dinners for family and friends, watching golf on TV, playing card games with her children and making puzzles with her great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church, at 1705 Taylor Rd, Port Orange, FL  32128 at 2:00 on Saturday, January 22, 2021, which would have been her 95 ^th birthday.
