Kathryn Evans Cox, 74, passed away on the 19th of June 2024 in her home in Punta Gorda, Florida surrounded by loved ones. Kathy graduated from Valencia Community College with a degree in nursing in 1982. She was a registered nurse for several years working in obstetrics, geriatrics and medical-surgical before ending her career as a hospice nurse.

She married William (Ted) Cox in 1988. Kathy prioritized her family over all things. She was blessed to have her daughters and grandson nearby for the last several years of her life. Kathy appreciated tradition and made every birthday and holiday a memorable occasion. She always made the best pies.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Ted; daughters, Sheryl and Valerie Stickeler; grandson, Connor; brother, Edgar (Buz) Keuling and wife Donna; sister, Karen McIntosh and husband Harold and niece Leigh.

Per Kathy's wishes, there will be no funeral. The family asks that you honor her life by donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
