Kathryn Klibbe Roddy, aged 66 years, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Cape Coral, FL. She was born October 10, 1957, in Raleigh, NC, to James and Edna Earle Klibbe. She grew up in Raleigh and was a proud 1975 graduate of Broughton High School. She also attended North Carolina State University and was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority, as well as an avid Wolfpack fan.

Kathryn enjoyed a variety of careers, including administrative work at a university and later at a ballet studio, head of economic development at the county level, and a brief stint as an RV salesperson. Kathryn's passions included cooking, reading, art, and music. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved anything to do with France. Kathryn had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and treasured spending time in Scripture.

She is survived by her children, Christina Kenaston and Jonathan Roddy, their father, Christopher Roddy, her younger sister, Judi Shubert, and three grandchildren, Kelly, Clayton, and Ava Kenaston.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization, (VFW).
