THAYER

Kay S. Thayer passed away peacefully on January 14, 2018 in Edgewater, FL after a brief illness.  Kay was a long-time resident of Branford, CT, who spent the last 23 years in Edgewater.  She was the daughter of Harry A. and Janet D. Stana both of Branford, CT.  Kay is survived by her husband Donald L. Thayer, her daughters Janet and Julie and son-in-law Jeff Hiltz; her nieces Kate Mauro Haessly of East Hampton, CT and her husband Keith; and Ellen Mauro McGee and her husband George currently of Winimac, IN.  A memorial service will be held on January 27, 2018 at the Pyramid Park club house at noon (2351 S. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater, FL, 32141).  Donations preferred to Vitas Hospice, 114 Canal St., Ste 100, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 or Regency Elder Care, 1511 Mango Tree Drive, Edgewater, FL 32132.
