Obituary

Keith Joseph Kehoe passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the age of 64. Keith was born and raised in the St. Louis, Missouri area before moving to central Florida in 2003. He married the love of his life, Sandra "Sandy" (Wheeler) Kehoe in 1992 and spent 33 amazing years building a lifetime of love, laughter and memories together. One of their greatest joys was having their son, Kyle in 1996. The three of them formed the perfect trio.

Keith's soft-spoken demeanor, gentle spirit, quick wit, and mischievous sense of humor had a way of winning over those who took the time to know him. He had an uncanny way of bonding with animals of all kinds; loved ones often lovingly referred to him as "Dr. Doolittle."

Keith was a gifted athlete in his youth, first as a decorated track runner and later as a softball player. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers fan, but loved watching sports of almost any kind.

He was an avid pigeon fancier, which started when he was a young teen. He would later take up the hobby as an adult and raised show birds for the past 21 years. He was a member of various pigeon clubs and attended shows in several different states. Keith achieved master breeder status and was a certified show pigeon judge.

Keith was a talented engineer, electrician, carpenter and craftsman. He and Sandy were a formidable team and could be found most weekends doing some sort of home improvement

project.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth "Bette" (Wilson) Kehoe; his siblings, Curt Kehoe, Laura (Kehoe) Shaw, and Dion Kehoe, and niece, Katie Kehoe. He is survived by his wife Sandy, his son Kyle Kehoe, daughter-in-law Beth (Ratta) Kehoe, granddaughter Lily Anthony, brother Erin (Danielle) Kehoe, sister Amanda (Cristin) Kehoe, sister-in-law Kathy Wheeler, sister-in-law Carla (Sundermeyer) Wheeler, sister-in-law Kathy (Brockmann) Kehoe, brother-in-law Thomas Shaw, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Keith's love and laughter will be greatly missed by all who ever passed through his life, but will be missed the most by all of those who held him close to their own hearts.
