Obituary

Keley L. Jones, 64, of Leesburg, Florida-formerly of Quincy, Ohio-passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on January 31, 1961, to the late Edwin and Kathryn Keller, Keley lived a life full of warmth, strength, and unwavering compassion. She was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother-whose love knew no bounds.

Keley is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, James Jones Jr., with whom she shared a deep bond and a love of adventure. She was a proud and nurturing mother to Dan (Faith) Thompson, Dana (Ben) Barnhart, and Chris Jones. Her joy multiplied in her grandchildren: Katlynn (Cody) Henderson, Brittany (Ethan) Schnipke, Tyler (Ashlynn) Massengill, Bailey (Lane) Wells, Danily Thompson, Colton Kennedy, Carmella Thompson, and Jewell Barnhart, as well as in her great-grandchildren: Blakely Henderson, Jazylynn Massengill, Wyatt Henderson, Raven Schnipke, Caliana Rose, and Westen Wells. Keley also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who were like family to her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tiffany Reynolds; her parents, Edwin and Kathryn; her mother-in-law, Hazel Jones; and her siblings, Peg Myer, Bonnie Rolf, and Ed Keller. A proud graduate of Newton High School, Class of 1979, Keley went on to find success and fulfillment in her professional life as a top-selling Aflac agent and later as a managing bail bond agent in northern Ohio. But more than her accomplishments, it was her spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Keley had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. With a heart always open to others, she never met a stranger. Whether lending a hand to someone in need or sharing stories and laughter with those she held dear, Keley had a way of making the world feel a little brighter.

She loved the freedom of the open road and the peace of being on the water. Whether she was boating on a sunny day or riding alongside her husband on one of their many motorcycle journeys, Keley embraced every adventure with joy and curiosity. Her travels brought her new experiences and lifelong friendships that she treasured deeply.

A celebration of Keley's life will be held at a later date. The family will share details once plans are finalized. Keley's light and love will continue to live on in all those who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
