Kenneth MacCallum, 58, of Edgewater, Florida and previously of Chapman, Maine, passed away on November 26, 2021.

Born on September 8, 1963 in Newcastle, New Brunswick, Canada, to Neil and Lillian MacCallum, Ken was the oldest of three boys. At 15 years of age, Ken started working for his father's company. This would serve him well later in life when he operated his own business, D & N Trucklines, Inc.

In 1982, Ken married his childhood sweetheart, Sandra Ross. Their shared faith served as the foundation of life together. They were blessed to welcome four children into this world: Jacklyn, Kevin, Scott and Kyle.

Embarking on a new journey, at age 40 Ken became a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, which he took great pride in for 18 years.

Ken had many passions in life. At their homestead in Chapman, he enjoyed tending to the apple orchard he planted himself. His many Cortland, Macintosh and Honeycrisp apple trees will always remain part of his legacy. Ken was known for keeping cars well tuned and on the road far beyond a reasonable mileage. Many people enjoyed Ken's talents with cooking. He was always willing to offer a plate to anyone who crossed his path. Ken enjoyed his grandchildren and the time spent with them was precious.

Having spent the summers of his youth in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Ken and Sandra purchased his parents' home in Edgewater as they planned their retirement. Together they enjoyed the Florida coast. Walking on the beach and listening to the ocean were especially meaningful to them.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter Jacklyn MacCallum and his brother, John MacCallum. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; children Kevin (Jolene) of Montreal, Quebec; Scott (Cassie) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Kyle (Jackie) of Glendale, Arizona; parents, Neil and Lillian MacCallum of Miramichi, New Brunswick; brother, Robert MacCallum (Dawn) of Forest City, North Carolina; sister-in-laws Jocelyn MacCallum of Miramichi, New Brunswick; Karen Larkin of Centerville, Nova Scotia; Bonnie Smith (Kenny) of Woodstock, New Brunswick; and Debbie Yetman (Calvin) of Moncton, New Brunswick; brother-in-law Brent Ross (Shawnie) of Moncton, New Brunswick; grandchildren Alexa, Landon, Ryan, Grayson, Noah and Addison as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and members of his faith based community.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11:00 am at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home in New Symrna Beach, FL.
