Kenny Scott, 77 of Cape Coral Florida passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born on February 16, 1949, in Indianapolis. He was a family man co-raising his daughter Missy Scott and son K.W. Scott. After studying civil engineering, he had a 30-year career in house building eventually owning his own business, Scott Homes.

He later moved to Cape Coral Florida where he met and was married Kathy Crane for 17 years. Kenny was a man of many passions, Great Dane dogs, racing, and photography. He was avid golfer, member of Palmetto Pines for 16 years and had his Hole in One on hole #6 in 2015. He was a great conversationist with fellow golfers and people he met of all ages and walks of life.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathleen (Crane) Scott; daughter Melissa (Missy) Scott, and son K.W. Scott III; and brother Denny Scott. He is predeceased by his parents Helen and Kenneth Scott of Indiana.

Private ceremony was held in Cape Coral. Kenny and the family have asked that donations be made to Cape Coral Animal Shelter.com
