Kevin Michael Hrzenak

September 11, 1963 – February 17, 2019

Kevin Hrzenak, 55, unexpectedly died in his sleep on February 17, 2019.  He was born in Sioux City, IA, to parents Dennis F. and Karen Hrzenak.  He and his family lived in Kansas City, KS, Miami, Cape Coral and Fort Myers, FL, where he primarily grew up, attending Cypress Lake Middle School and Fort Myers High School.  While Kevin was a painter, artist, carpenter and all around hard worker, his passion was music and he loved the beach. A good person through and through, he will be greatly missed.

Kevin is survived by his children: Sharla Hrzenak, Wesley Hrzenak, Kristofer Hrzenak Noullet (of New Hampshire), Brianna Reedy-Chavez, and Kyle Hrzenak; his mother, Karen Bieber, three sisters: Denise Lunsford, Danielle Ryea (of Brooklyn, NY) and Deborah Hrzenak-Mutchler.  He is also survived by high school sweetheart and loving partner, Teddi Kirkleski, with whom he shared the last seven years of his life. Other survivors include his Grandmother Mildred Herzenak, Uncle Jim Herzenak, Aunt Lisa Murphy (all of Kansas), two granddaughters, Taytum Renee and Saige Jordan, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by father, Dennis F. Hrzenak, and Grandfather, Frank J. Herzenak.

Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
