Kevin Peter McVeigh, 65 of New Smyrna Beach Florida died at home on Thursday, March 25 surrounded by his loving family. Kevin grew up in New Britain and resided in Windsor, Connecticut before moving to Florida in 2017 where he retired to enjoy life with his wife. He was a life long Notre Dame and NY Giants Fan.

He leaves his loving wife Candice (Thibeault) McVeigh, his son Joseph (Tracy) and Erik (Deliz Cruz) a daughter, Erin Rose (Andrew Barcomb).He  leaves his two granddaughters Mikayla and Nina Rose. Also surviving are his brother James McVeigh, sisters Margaret Francis (Donald), Elizabeth Backshall (Paul), and Rosemary Johnson (Patrick).He also leaves behind two brothers- in-law, Randall Thibeault (Nanette)and Mark Thibeault (Katherine).He also has 14 nieces and nephews that he adored. He was predeceased by both his parents James and Dorothy (Johnson) Mcveigh, his sister Ellen Francis, nephew Sean Francis and niece Marcella Bauman, and his brother-in-law Gerry Francis

His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
