Obituary

Kevin was known as a rarity—someone with an unwavering can-do spirit.

With heavy hearts and reverent gratitude, we announce the passing of Kevin Lee Miller, who departed this life on August 11, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida, at the age of 49. Born on August 6, 1977, in Fredericksburg, Ohio, Kevin’s journey was marked by a vibrancy and ingenuity that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

From his earliest days, Kevin was known as a rarity. Someone with an unwavering can-do spirit. Those closest to him fondly recall the refrain, “Kevin can do it,” a motto that not only defined his approach to life but also became a prophecy lived out across the years. Whether as a loving family man, respected professional or faithful friend, Kevin imbued every aspect of his life with energy, warmth and an infectious confidence that inspired others.

Devoted husband to Michelle Miller, loving father to Noah and Sebastian Miller, treasured son to Paul Miller, and caring brother to Kendra Judy and Krystal Scarberry, Kevin’s relationships with his family were a testament to his rich heart and steadfast loyalty. He shared close bonds with his brothers-in-law, Brad Judy and Jeremy Scarberry, all of whom grieve deeply the loss of a man whose presence brightened every gathering. Kevin’s beloved mother, Karen Eash Miller, preceded him in death; her influence in his life was profound, and their bond everlasting.

Kevin’s thirst for knowledge led him to earn an Associate’s Degree from ITT Tech, an achievement that paved the way for a distinguished career as a Senior Designer in the engineering industry. Within his profession, Kevin's creativity, precision and mastery were readily apparent. Colleagues admired the ease with which he navigated challenges, combining technical acumen with a true craftsman’s touch.

Kevin lived as a genuine jack of all trades—and a master in many.

Not content to limit his expertise to the workplace, Kevin lived as a genuine jack of all trades and a master in many. His passions were as diverse as they were fervent: boating, fishing, designing, building and working on cars, to name a few. Whether on the water, entrenched in the intricate world of engines, or sketching a new concept, he reveled in the process of creation and delight in practical solutions. Sports provided yet another outlet for Kevin’s competitive spirit; football and basketball animated his conversations and gatherings, connecting him with friends and family alike.

Yet it was within the roles of husband, father, son, brother, friend and coworker that Kevin’s singular light shone brightest. He poured his kindness, humor and encouragement into each relationship, cultivating a supportive and uplifting environment wherever he went. Those who shared in his life will remember his dependability, his gentle strength, his loyalty and his enduring generosity. His can-do philosophy was more than a slogan. It was a way to empower those around him, fostering achievements and memories that will be held close by all whose lives he enriched.

While words cannot fully capture the depth of our loss, nor the magnitude of Kevin Lee Miller’s spirit, we seek comfort in the indelible legacy he leaves behind. A legacy of love, devotion, talent and quiet, persistent optimism.

Service details honoring and celebrating Kevin’s extraordinary life are not provided at this time.

As we bid farewell to a truly special man, we carry forward his lessons, his laughter, and his love in our hearts, eternally grateful for the time we were given.
