Kevin Harry Rudd, 73, of Winter Park, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Kevin was born on February 17, 1950 in Granville, NY. He was the son of the late Ralph Emerson Rudd Jr. and Catherine Williams Rudd.

Kevin was a graduate of Granville High School, Hartwick College, and SUNY Buffalo School of Dentistry. After dental school, Kevin went into the United States Navy Dental Corp. After two years in the Navy, Kevin associated with Dr. George Pankey in St. Cloud, Florida. They later built a dental office together where they became partners until 1992. Kevin continued the practice until January 2013.

In retirement, Kevin enjoyed traveling, snow skiing, cooking, and gardening. Kevin fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and purchased a condo in Portland, Oregon where he enjoyed hiking and fly fishing.

Kevin enjoyed the music, lectures, and artistic venues near his home in Winter Park, Florida and being close to his many friends.

Kevin is survived by his two brothers, Ralph E. Rudd III (Susan) and Gary M. Rudd (Erin). He is also survived by his nephew Stuart Rudd (Caroline), his nieces Shelley Conlin (Brian), Heather Lyng, Brittany Rudd, and great nieces Abigail Conlin, Gillian Lyng, Avery Bigalow, and great nephews Richard Conlin, Evan Conlin, Christian Rudd, and Cole Rudd.

Kevin lived a blessed life and will be deeply missed.

There will be a graveside memorial service to honor Kevin in late summer at the Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Granville, NY.

A celebration of Kevin's life in Orlando will be held at a later date.
