Kevin C. Russell, 61, of Clermont, FL passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Kevin was born in Port Jefferson, NY, on December 2, 1957 to Charles L. Russell and Jeanine G. Russell. He was a lifelong NY Mets fan, having learned the love of the game from his father. After graduating from Sachem High School in 1976, Kevin turned his passion for the game into a career, beginning as baseball coach at Brockport High School. From there, Kevin went on to serve as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians Class A minor league baseball team. He also served as former head baseball coach at SUNY Brockport, Director of Athletics at Coastal Florida Sports Park and Baseball/Softball Program Director at Disney's Wide World of Sports.

Kevin was preceded in death by his nephew, Jarod T. Harling. He is survived by his mother, Jeanine G. Russell (FL), sisters Shari Wynn (FL) and Charlotte Albino (NY), and nieces Laine Obando (FL) and Lauren Albino (NY). He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
