Earlier this week we announced the heart breaking news of Kimberly Lynn Velez Battaglia's passing on December 25th, 2023. Kim was born on August 23, 1969 and was the youngest of five siblings.  She was the mother of four and grandmother of two.  Kim was a devout Christian that began her life-long Christian following at Trinity United Methodist Church, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. and was a member of various cross-denominational churches throughout her life. Kimberly fought a valiant fight with a number of maladies brought on by her decade long battle with MS. She made her way to heaven peacefully with loved ones surrounding her.  Her absence is mourned by her children, siblings, mother, step-mother, aunt and life-long friend. Kimberly will be truly missed by those she has left behind.

Writing for my heart… As stated with great saddens.. I cannot believe that Kim is no longer on this earth with us. God has called Kim up to him … Kim's friends and family will truly miss her deeply. I know Kim in a better place And is surrounded by loved ones..  I'm very happy we could be together in her final days. The joy I saw on her face to know. Kim's beautiful girls were there to see her before our heavenly Father took her to her eternal resting place made me so happy. Sometimes life does not go as planned .. This is why god sent the lord and savior, his son Jesus Christ to forgive us of our trespasses because none of us are perfect and we need forgiveness… I wish we could have gotten kim, as she wished to west palm beach..  we were going to try to make it happen ,so she could be closer to family… I'm so happy Kim had a forever friend ,sister friend in Malaika.. She was by her side to the end… Kimberly, (AKA witchy poo effectionately referred to/ HR puffin stuff)  will always have a piece of my heart on christmas the day we celebrate the Lord and savior birth.. will always be celebrated with more joy, knowing the love Kim had for Jesus and the day He took her to heaven..
