Klemence A. Lietuwnikas of New Smyrna Beach passed away, Monday, January 18, 2010.    Klemence was born February 24, 1939 in Worcester, Ma. He moved with his family to Florida in 1951. He is pre-deceased by Alfred P. Lietuwnikas, father and Madeline Hawke, mother.  He graduated from Miami Edison High School in Miami, Fl, and law enforcement academies. Klemence known to all as Klem Sr made law enforcement his career.  He worked as a police officer for New Smyrna PD, South Daytona PD, Miami-Dade Sheriff and Broward County Sheriff. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
