Kristin (Kris) Lynn Crider, 47, of Ormond Beach, FL passed suddenly on Tuesday, 8/17/21.  Kris was born in Queens, NY on 12/25/73 to Kevin and Linda Ambrose.

Kris was a loving mother, wife, and daughter.  Her family was her pride and joy.  She had a heart of gold and was easily accepting of people from all walks of life.  She loved being outside working in her garden and four-wheeling.  She was also an animal lover and constantly spoiled her 3 dogs, Gizmo, Prancer, and Leo.  You could generally find Kris wearing her favorite color, camo, when she would venture out to the Iron Horse during Bike Week and Biketoberfest.  Most notably, she worked tirelessly to overcome heart troubles and finally received a donor heart in 2019.  Even when ill, she could always find time and energy to give to those closest to her.

Kris was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Ambrose, twin still-born brothers, and grandparents, Thomas and Phyllis McCarren and Robert and Margaret (Peggy) Ambrose.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dean Crider and beautiful daughter, Darbie Butts.  She also leaves behind her father, Kevin Ambrose, stepmother, Jacqueline McCarren-Ambrose, and aunts and uncles, Tom (Nancy) McCarren, Jackie Soccorso, Marianne Ambrose, Margaret (Mike) Gratza, and Robert (Peggy) Ambrose, and many cousins.

A memorial/viewing will be held at 4pm on Saturday, 9/4/21 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1185 W Granada Blvd #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.  A reception will follow at the home of Jan and Al Kaeding, 1081 George Anderson St, Ormond Beach, from 6:30-9pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover medical bills and living expenses are appreciated.
