Larry Allen Davis, age 61, passed away on July 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength that will forever echo in the hearts of all who knew him.

Born on December 5, 1964, in Waynesboro, Virginia, Larry grew into a man defined by his generosity, his loyalty, and his unwavering willingness to show up for others without ever seeking recognition. He was the kind of person who made life better simply by being present—steady, warm, and always ready with a beer, story or a joke that could lift even the heaviest day.

Whether he was working, hunting, riding his Harley or Honda Rebel, out on his boat, listening to music, playing sports, helping a friend in need, or spending time with family. Larry lived with a sincerity that made people feel loved, valued, and seen.

Above all, Larry cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His love was strong, uncomplicated, and constant. To Connie, his wife, he was not only a partner but a lifelong best friend and a piece of home that can never be replaced.

Larry dedicated 33 years of his life to serving others as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. He was deeply committed to his patients and colleagues, and he was loved and respected by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Larry served in the United States Army and earned the following accolades: Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge. He loved the Army.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Faye Breeden Davis; his sons Daniel Renn Davis and Christopher “Chris” Allen Davis, and Chris’s wife Amber Nicole Davis; his grandchildren Shay Angelina Davis, Connor Allen Davis, Madison Nicole Davis, and Rowan Allen Davis; his father Gary Alan Davis; his mother Betty Lou Davis; his sister Michelle Louise Davis Ramsey, (John Anthony Ramsey); his brother John Stuart Littleton, (Steve Clark); and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward with gratitude for every moment shared.

A military celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a future date yet to be determined, where friends and loved ones will gather to honor the remarkable man he was and the profound impact he made.

His absence leaves an ache that words cannot fully capture, but his presence, his humor, his kindness, and his spirit—will remain with us always.
