Larry Ray Koven, 62, of Ocala, entered into rest on November 5, 2015 after a long battle of ill health. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Morris and Theodora (Taylor) Koven.  Larry was self-employed for most of his working life.

His hobbies included cars, dogs (he raised and raced Greyhounds), and being a Hawaiian Shave Ice Huts entrepreneur. Larry had an entrepreneurial spirit and was a very loving husband.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory his adoring wife: Roxana Koven; daughter: Laurie Ann Acker; brother: Barry Koven; sister in law: Ellen Koven; aunt: Elissa Bettis; cousin: Robbin Sowinski (Ron); cousin: Michael Cron (Carol); nephew: Dan Koven (Stephanie; niece: Molly Estes (Brandon); great-niece Taylor Koven; great-niece: Rebekah Koven; and a host of other family and friends.
