Larry William McGary

Larry William McGary, 83, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on November 24, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Lewy body dementia. Son of Harold and Eula Caldwell McGary, Larry was born February 17, 1939, in Beallsville, OH. After graduating from Beallsville High School, Larry was employed at the Conalco/Ormet aluminum rolling mill for 38 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, serving from 1961 to 1967. Larry was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church.

Larry married his wife, Marian, in 1962. Together they raised two children, Jeff and Jeannie. After retiring, he moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1996, where he was able to enjoy watching his three grandchildren grow up.

Larry is survived by his wife, Marian Clegg McGary, two children Jeff (Sabrina) McGary and Jeannie (Brian) Buesing, three grandchildren Ryan, Chloe and Ethan, sister-in-law Donna (Terry) Craig, brother-in-law Dick (Jeri) Clegg, nieces, nephews, a cousin and loyal friends.
