Larry McGee Robertson, 84, went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 17th at 4:15am, peacefully and surrounded by family. Larry was born on April 3rd, 1941, to Willy and Christine Robertson in Nashville, Tennessee, but called Daytona Beach, Florida home for more than seventy years.

Larry lived his life as an example to his family and his community. A fierce friend and steadfast father, he was always ready with a story to bring a smile to every face. In 84 years of life, Larry never met a stranger. He was unreserved in his love for his community and served his community for 27 years as a volunteer trooper with the Auxiliary Highway Patrol.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Clark Robertson, siblings, George Glenn Robertson and Thelma Delores Steele, and his children, Tracy Robertson Schwall and her husband, Sonny Lee Schwall, Stacy Lee Robertson, and Lance Matthew Robertson. Larry also leaves behind four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Larry at First Baptist Daytona Beach (10 First Baptist Pkwy, Daytona Beach, FL 32124), at 10:30am on Friday, May 23rd. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in the form of donations to the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.
