LaRue Florence (Love) Price went to reside with her Lord on November 20, 2015.  She was born in 1925 to parents Harry and Elmina (Foster) in Reading, PA.

She is a graduate of Reading High School and the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.

LaRue retired after many years of service as an RN in both Reading and Florida, after which she was a hospice volunteer with the Halifax Health-Hospice for 22 years until October 2015, where she was well-loved by her patients and their families.

She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church, New Smyrna, and the J.O.Y. Sunday School Class.

LaRue was the wife of Edwin W. Price, also of Reading, for 45 years until his death in 1992.  She is survived by a son, Philip L. Price, and his wife, Diane, of Reading, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Halifax Health- Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Counties.

There will be no services, per LaRue's wishes.  Interment will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA.
